What to expect from this course
The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 require employers to ensure that all employees are trained and competent in manual handling.
Back injury is a major cause of employee absenteeism and manual handling accidents account for more than a third of all accidents reported each year to the enforcing authorities.
This course will teach staff the safest way to handle objects in the workplace in order to avoid injury.
The course is aimed at all levels of employees including those who undertake manual handling operations either as a key part of their job and those who may need to move supplies and equipment on an infrequent basis.

Continuous assessment by the trainer of practical techniques and theoretical understanding
